People that frequently purchase on the web are aware of the assortment of freebies and no cost bonus deals which can be found by a customer at an internet site to to persuade them to purchase. How may you accumulate, pick and provide freebies, which is appreciated just as much as the original product which is currently being bought, place these items with each other and contribute them to your own E-book? There are merely 3 simple steps to achieve that very thing.

They’re:

1. Identify the keywords within each and every chapter of the E-book. Right now, type all those terms into your preferred internet search engine. You are interested in free E-books on a single topic in a lot more detail, by a more significant specialist than you tend to be, or by an individual who provides a new and refreshing perspective to the subject. Put in a hyperlink to the free E-book in each and every chapter of your own E-book.

2. Research the web for connected freebies. Now you are searching for items that you might offer as free gifts as part of your E-book which will make it more desirable and give this more pass-along attract your readers. For instance: If you can sell gardening supplies, find a planting guide on the internet that can be downloaded and can include that as a present in your E-book.

3. Obtain the freebies. Go to the freebies pages on those internet sites. Most sites possess freebies and encourage you to definitely distribute them.

Other key phrases I searched with regard to are freebies, free of charge E-books, and free reports after which gave the key phrase that I desired the free things for. Like… “freebies with regard to gardeners”.

Give your readers the very best that you could offer. Give all of them your book, additional reading material and freebies to boot. Many people really like a bargain!

Who wants to make money from AdSense? Or a better question: who does not want to make money from AdSense?

What Is “Made For AdSense”?

MFA (Made For AdSense) websites refer to sites that were created specifically to profit from serving Google AdSense ads, and for no other purpose. Typically, these websites lack any real content. I’m sure you’ve all seen a few Made For AdSense websites that haunt the web. MFA sites are the scorn of advertisers. Why? Because MFA websites simply do not convert website visitors into buyers. Advertisers on MFA sites pay the websites for clicks, but rarely do those clicks actually convert into sales.

Profiting from Advertising

There is nothing wrong with profiting from work. If a publisher has created unique and interesting content, there is no reason they should not profit from it. In fact, publishers who are on the Internet to make money should make every effort to maximize the amount of revenue they receive. That said, Made For AdSense websites that are cluttered with advertisements and lack any genuine content are far too common. The key distinction between Made For AdSense websites and a publisher who happens to profit from AdSense is the quality and value of the content on the website.

Profit From “Pay Per Click”

The ad serving services have made changes to restrict how their ads are used. Be sure to review the terms of services prior to adding their ads to your website. Whether adding YPN! or Google AdSense ads to a website, webmasters and publishers should keep the following in mind:

a. Match The Color Of The Advertisement – Attempt to blend the advertisement into the website if possible.

b. Position The Ad — Position the advertisement “above the fold” on the web page (i.e. in the upper portion of the page, before having to scroll down), in a place where it is more likely to result in clicks.

c. Match The Font – Attempt to match the website’s font with the font used in the advertisement.

d. Remove The Ads Border – Remove the border from the advertisement so that it better blends into the website.

Many websites are built with the intention of generating advertising revenue. Google’s algorithms have become quite astute at determining whether a website is merely a collection of affiliate links, or if the site contains actual value. In order for a website to rank well in and prosper from the search engines, the website needs to offer something different or unique, or a specialized product or service in order to distinguish itself. If the website is strictly a collection of affiliate links, without any additional value, the search engines will quickly determine that the site offers no real value to their searchers. Webmasters need to ask themselves: if you remove the website’s advertisements and the affiliate links, is there anything of value that remains? Is there any intrinsic value to the website’s actual contents?

There is nothing wrong with profiting from a website — commercialization on the web is big business. But there needs to be value that distinguishes a website from its competitors. Content should be designed for website visitors, not for advertisements or search engines. Ultimately, the long-term profitability of a the website will rely on the value of the content contained in the website. If the content lacks value, the website will likely be profitable for only a short amount of time.

Many websites include a section or two with the “Ads by Google” above it or below it. These are ads displayed via Google’s AdSense. When you do a search on Google and see ads in the search results pages, they are generally AdSense ads.
AdSense – The Yin:

Google’s AdSense is programming that “senses” the content of a page or search. It finds keywords on a web page or in a search phrase to determine the subject of the content. It does this by either “reading” the page, or taking a look at the search term that was typed into Google Search. It can “Sense” which ads in the system are relevant to the content or search and display them – thus: “AdSense.”

Before ads on a page are displayed, AdSense searches its database of advertisers and finds ads that are associated with keywords on the page or in the search. Now AdSense needs to decide which of the thousands of ads vying for position are actually displayed. To make this decision, AsSense looks at the advertiser’s bids for the relevant keywords. The advertisers that have a combination of the highest bid, keyword relevance and best click through get displayed first.

Google tracks clicks on ads and advertisers pay Google the bid price for each click. When the AdSense ad is on someone’s web page, Google pays the website owner a portion of the payment for each click. The term “monetizing” your site refers to taking your existing site and placing ads like AdSense on it to make money (or finding other way to make money with websites). If you get 10,000 visitors and 10% of them click an ad that pays you, theoretically, $0.75 per click, you just made $750! Not bad for just copying some AdSense code (which Google provides) into your popular website’s HTML (if your site is not popular, learn about SEO – Search Engine Optimization – from sites like AcmeWebResources).

AdWords – The Yang:

The other side to AdSense is AdWords. AdSense ads have lists of relevant keywords associated with them. Each keyword is bid on by the advertisers for placement in the results pages and on web sites around the world. The words that will prompt a display of an advertiser’s ad are bid on by the advertiser. When an ad matches the words on a page, the ads are displayed; thus: AdWords. AdWords is the system in Google that is used to place ads that display in AdSense.

You can enroll in AdWords to pay for AdSense ads to drive traffic to your site. The first step is to sign up with Google. The next step is to associate keywords to associate with your site.

The idea is to drive traffic to your site through the use of relevant ads. The more relevant the ad to your content, the more targeted your traffic will be. Compose your articles around your list of keywords. Next, write an ad based on the keywords and assign keywords to the ad. You will bid on the keywords at the time you associate keywords with the ad. If one of your keywords is searched for or relevant to a site, and you have a good bid and relevant ad, your AdWord ad will be displayed. Only when someone clicks your ad are you charged by Google.

The more popular keywords are wanted by many competitors, so the prices per click can get pretty high. It is not uncommon for a click to cost $5 or even $10. If you have 10,000 ad clicks, after you account for your conversion rate (the rate that you convert visitors into buyers) you better be sure you are making more than the ad click costs! But it should never break your bank because you can set the bid limits and the monthly budget.

What if you can’t afford $5.00 per click? Since the more popular keywords are so expensive, it is best to bid on less popular keywords because the cost per click is lower. Google presently has a minimum bid of $0.05 per click. If you can get those, you can reduce your advertising budget.

A popular site can make a lot of money, however, a lot of money and time can be wasted. To avoid waste, you have to learn as much as possible and get the right tools to do the research.

When designing a website, it is important that webmasters ask some general questions before they begin the design process…

What Is The Purpose Of Your Website?

Many companies use websites to establish their brand. Others use websites as a communication tool. Some companies see websites as sales vehicles and “billboards”. Still others use their website as an educational tool. And some may be any combination of the above. The website must have a purpose in order for it to be effective.

What Is It That You Are Trying To Accomplish With The Website?

A strong understanding of the website will allow a webmaster to emphasize the action they want the website visitor to take on the website. By defining and understanding the purpose of the website, webmasters and publishers can better structure the information on the website. Information can be provided with the appropriate emphasis and navigation. An ideal website will lead the web visitor to take the action the webmaster wants.

Who Is Your Audience?

You must identify and understand your target audience. Understanding your demographic will allow you to cater content specific to that group.

What Are The Objectives Of The Website?

You also need to determine what the objective of your website is. What are you attempting to accomplish? Are you trying to sell something? Are you looking for downloads, or is sales your real objective? Is your website trying to promote a specific product or service? Do you want your visitors to take a specific action? Is the intent to profit from ad space in general or to have website visitor’s click on specific ads? Are you trying to build a brand? Do you want visitors to purchase a product, or provide an email address?

When attempting to solicit a specific action, there are some general guidelines that you should follow. Your website should be designed to solicit the action you desire, so the navigation should intuitively lead the visitor to take the desired action. If clicking a link is the goal, then that link should be clearly indicated and prominent on the page. This will not only help insure that the maximum number of visitors will be able to adequately view and navigate your content, but it will also help prompt those visitors to take the action you wish to have occur.

For example: Many software companies struggle with the action they wish to solicit from the website visitor. Software companies and eBook publishers are often guilty of pushing users to download, at the expense of the actual sale. Some companies prefer to have users download prior to making a purchase decision, while others lose impulse purchasers by only pushing the download rather than the sale.

In Order To Maximize The Websites Sales Purpose And Objectives, Follow These Simple Steps…

Address Compatibility Issues

If a website visitor is unable to view the website’s content, they are obviously going to be unable to complete the desired action. The compatibility issues could be related to technology or usability. Avoid using technologies that require the website visitor to download a plug-in before they can view the website content. If providing content using flash is important to you, you should also provide a flash-free version as well. Also, do not alienate website visitors who might have a disability — use proper web construct, provide alt tags for images, and avoid using a color scheme that will cause confusion.

Define A Clear Navigation Path

A website’s navigation should provide the visitor with a clear path. Information architecture is the organization and categorization of online content — the process of creating clarity and organizing online information in a purposeful, and logical way. Prioritize and emphasize the most important items on the website. Give visitors a clear path to what they are seeking. Each and every page should intuitively provide them links to additional information and purchase options.

Minimize Distractions

Minimize choices and other website distractions. Website visitors should be provided a clear path of action. Do not provide the website visitor an abundance of choices — studies show that a large number of choices often puts the consumer off. It is generally recommended that you provide no more than 3 choices. Keep your message concise and on-topic. Website visitors will often just scan a webpage rather than reading it, so bulleted lists and headlines might be used to emphasize your message.

It may sound like a cliche, but it’s the little things that can make the biggest difference. Pay attention to all aspects of your website. Defining the specific website objectives and purpose will help to encourage the desired action or behavior from your website visitors.

Unfortunately they do not update the points total in real time and claim it may take several weeks. This of course leaves me wondering if I completed the surveys correctly and have I been credited. They say if there is an issue I should contact them in 6 weeks but of course by then I will not remember all the surveys. I could keep a list but it would be quite long by now. I am not giving up just showing a little pessimism.

The website itself feels a little unfinished. I am constantly logged out when I change pages and it can be hard to find the information I need.

I joined mysurvey. com yesterday. They are, as the name suggests, a survey company offering points when you take surveys. I have already taken several small surveys and have a balance of 65 points. This I believe equates to $0.65. If this rate keeps up I may make $15 or more in the month.

Once again their website is professional and very easy to navigate. Unlike some other programs they have updated my points total more or less instantly on completion of a survey so I can keep a real time track of my rewards. Obviously I cannot comment on payments yet but I am willing to link to them so you can find out more.

I joined the program on the 9th September 2007 so I am new and obviously cannot comment on payouts yet. Within the first day I had earned about $2 from the adverts shown to a new user. Bowled over or maybe blinded by this success I decided to upgrade to premium and paid my $10. It’s interesting that they say the upgrade fee is to show that you are a serious buyer with the ability to purchase online. I think if this is the case then they could refund you, at least partially.

Anyway I immediately received access to another 500ish adverts which after over four hours more clicking gave me a grand total of about $7. Yes I was on my way to the magic $13 payout. Did I say $13 I meant $10 but there is a huge $3 cheque fee so I need to make that back as well in order to break even.

After persuading myself that this was going to work I used some of my clixsense money to purchase an advert. Yes it increased my traffic but of course most people are not looking at the ads so I made no conversions. Well we are experimenting.

Anyway I have had a steady stream of ads and now have almost $10 in my account. Not bad for about 8 hours clicking!! Although I cannot recommend it fully yet I have included my referral below so you can read about it yourself and may be make some money if you join. I will of course update you if anything changes.

Yes as of 20.00 21st september I am now upto $10. The next target is the magic $13. I received almost 70 ads today so hopefully it will continue at this rate.

Its official, as of today 30th September my account reached $13. I have just checked and because Clixsense are in a slightly different time zone they have already updated their website as if it was 1st October. My account shows a zero balance with a cheque for $10 pending. I will post an update if and hopefully when it arrives.

It is now 4th October and the cheque has arrived. I have the grand sum of $10 to deposit in my account. This means I earned about $1.20 per hour for viewing the adverts. I have continued to receive a steady stream of opportunities from them since the beginning of the month averaging about 22 cents a day. So I estimate an average income of $60 per year allowing for the cheque processing fee. I could increase this to about $75 per year if I raised the payout trigger amount to at least $50.

Whereas I received very few adverts above $0.01 and there are very few to view after the initial week it is still an easy way to earn a few extra dollars. It will help offset some of the hosting costs for the blog. Of course it is up to the individual to judge the value of the scheme but remember you can sign up for free and see if you enjoy it.
